Oksana Carlson joined the Global Collaborations division of Johns Hopkins Medicine International in 2005 as a Project administrator. She is involved in managing international projects- affiliations of Johns Hopkins: Tokyo Midtown Medical Center (Japan) and Hospital Punta Pacifica (Panama). She also assists with developing several new initiatives with prospective international partners.
Oksana has Masters Degrees in Journalism and in Marketing. She also completed marketing and management training programs in Italy, Japan and in the United States. She is currently pursuing her MBA at The George Washington University.
Over the past 8 years, Oksana has been involved in several international projects including marketing a Hyundai business center, a Russian-Korean joint venture; managing a large biodiversity conservation project organized by the World Wildlife Fund; launching a new business publication in Russia; and expanding a U.S. business enterprise into the European market. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, she worked on business development and on partnership agreements with customers in Eastern and Central Europe, Asia, and Australia and at a U.S. telecommunications firm.
