Digestive Diseases (Gastroenterology) 

The Meyerhoff Digestive Disease Center provides a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of digestive and nutritional disorders in adults and children.  The gastrointestinal endoscopy unit and clinical laboratories in the Meyerhoff Center provide a range of endoscopic laboratory procedures, including ERCP, removal of common duct stones, polypectomy, 24-hour ambulatory pH monitoring, esophageal motility, gastric and pancreatic secretory studies, intestinal biopsy, fecal fat and malabsorption studies.  Special interests of the faculty include Crohn’s disease, diarrheal disease, esophageal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, liver and bilitary diseases, liver transplant evaluation and swallowing disorders.
