Ear, Nose & Throat (Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery) 

The most comprehensive such department in the nation, Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery includes head and neck surgeons, facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons, endoscopic surgeons, pediatric otolaryngologists, speech pathologists, audiologists, neuro-otologists, laryngologists, swallowing therapists, dentists and oral surgeons who work together as a team to coordinate every component of medical and dental care.

The department evaluates problems in hearing, speaking, smelling, eating, tasting, swallowing, and dizziness caused by disease, injury or congenital defects.  In complex cases, the resources of Hopkins subspecialists in radiology, oncology and pathology are called upon.  Special interests or clinics include:  Cochlear implantation, snoring disorders and sleep apnea, vertigo and Meniere’s disease, and voice problems.
